Sonia M. Rodriguez, a San Antonio native, has dedicated her legal career to advocating for individuals in need. After graduating from Burbank High School and the University of North Texas, she earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1999. During her time at St. Mary's, she co-founded The Scholar: St. Mary's Law Review on Minority Issues, demonstrating her early commitment to addressing legal issues affecting minority communities.
For over two decades, Sonia has focused on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, specializing in trial and appellate law. Her exceptional legal skills have earned her numerous accolades, including recognition as a "Texas Rising Star" by Texas Monthly and Law & Politics. In 2004, she made history as the first Mexican American woman to secure a verdict exceeding $2 million in Val Verde County, Texas.
