Sonia M. Rodriguez, a San Antonio native, has dedicated her legal career to advocating for individuals in need. After graduating from Burbank High School and the University of North Texas, she earned her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1999.
For 27 years, Sonia Rodriguez has handled only personal injury cases. In 2018, Sonia partnered with Michael Cowen and Malorie Peacock to focus her practice on suing motor carriers and corporations that operate fleet vehicles. She has seen tremendous success. Sonia has recovered tens of millions of dollars for her clients. Last year, she obtained an $8.5 million verdict against Texas Disposal Systems in Travis County. And in the last 4 months alone, Sonia has recovered over $30 million in settlements from reckless corporations. Her passion is visual storytelling and she loves crafting damage models.
Sonia is a Past President of the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association and a recipient of its Pat Maloney Courage Award. She is also a member of the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and is a recipient of its Reich Chandler Award.
