Ms. Nicolette Saenz is an Associate Attorney at Cowen Rodriguez Peacock, P.C., where she focuses her practice on personal injury litigation. A South Texas native, Nicolette was born and raised in McAllen, Texas. She moved to San Antonio to attend the University of Texas at San Antonio where she earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science. Nicolette went on to receive her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas.
After becoming licensed, Nicolette began her career practicing criminal law, representing individuals charged with serious offenses. She later served as an Assistant Criminal District Attorney in Bexar County, Texas, where she gained extensive trial experience advocating for victims of family violence. As a prosecutor, Nicolette was also assigned to the Conviction Integrity Unit where she was tasked with evaluating and reviewing final convictions to determine whether there is some manifest injustice that may be corrected by the procedures provided by post-conviction law. Nicolette later transitioned into insurance defense, where she primarily represented amusement parks in personal injury litigation.
Nicolette maintains active memberships in several organizations, including the, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, Mexican American Bar Association of San Antonio, San Antonio Young Lawyers Association, and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.
When not at work, Nicolette enjoys spending time with her dog Uno, playing pickleball and golf with friends, cooking, and travelling.
