Ms. Juishree Samant is an Associate Attorney at Cowen Rodriguez Peacock, P.C., where she focuses her practice on personal injury litigation. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Samant worked at one of the largest personal injury firms in Texas and a national personal injury law firm where she handled and resolved numerous personal injury cases, including commercial cases involving 18-wheelers and other company vehicles.
Ms. Samant’s unique perspective and approach to resolving cases comes from having worked her way up from a Receptionist to a Paralegal to a practicing attorney. Throughout law school, Ms. Samant developed her advocacy skills through internships at personal injury law firms and through the Mock Trial Program where she received recognition as the National Civil Trial Competition’s Best Cross Examination in the year 2020. Additionally, Ms. Samant was chosen for the 2021 Judge Jack B. Miller’s Award for Dedication, Integrity & Professionalism. Ms. Samant’s Mock Trial contributions received final recognition when she was officially inducted into the Order of the Barrister in 2021. Ms. Samant graduated cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law where she received the Dean’s Scholarship.
In his current role, Ms. Samant helps manage a substantial docket, handling all aspects of litigation including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, preparing clients for depositions, and representing clients at hearings. She maintains active memberships in several prestigious legal organizations, including the San Antonio Trial Lawyers Association, Texas Trial Lawyers Association, American Association for Justice, and the Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys.
When not at work, Ms. Samant enjoys spending time with her dogs and staying active with the Peloton community, spending time with her family, and travelling to music festivals.
