Shannon Dylan Pearcy joined Cowen | Rodriguez | Peacock as an associate attorney in 2019. Prior to joining Cowen | Rodriguez | Peacock, Dylan spent two years being mentored by and working closely with a well-respected Texas litigator, handling a diverse and often complex docket of cases.
Dylan was raised in the Texas Hill Country and is a seventh-generation Texan and third-generation Texas attorney. A proud graduate of the University of Texas, with a B.A. in History, Dylan worked as a journalist and public-school teacher after college, including almost a decade as a successful speech and debate coach.
In 2012, Dylan decided to shift his career path and pursue a law degree, taking advantage of an academic scholarship to obtain his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. After years spent teaching advocacy to others, law school helped Dylan rediscover a passion for using his own voice and skill to help those in need.
In his personal life, Dylan is devoted to family and his children’s busy schedules. When he does have free time, Dylan can often be found hiking and skiing in the Rocky Mountains or boating and fishing off the Texas coast.
