Brownsville parents were recently notified that their Evenflo child restraint system may be faulty.  Certain Maestro child restraint systems with model numbers beginning with 310 which were built between November 24, 2009, and April 9, 2010 are being recalled because they fail to conform to the structural integrity requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 213.
 
During a San Antonio car crash, a crack may form at the front of the seat adjacent near the harness adjuster. This can cause the child to fly from the seat and increases the risk of serious injury or death from the accident.
