Stuck in traffic? The top ten most congested roads in Bexar County

A new study from the Texas Department of Transportation shows that Bexar County roads are relatively uncongested.  This may seem like a surprise if you are stuck in traffic on U.S. 281, but those in Houston and Dallas Fort-Worth have it worse.  Nine of the ten most congested roads in Texas are in those cities. The last is in Austin.
 
So where do Bexar County’s most congested roads rank? The most congested road in San Antonio is only 23rd on the list.
 
1.    Loop 1604 from Bandera Road to Culebra Road (23)
2.    U.S. 281 from Loop 1604 to Cormal County line (38)
3.    I-35 from U.S. 90 to U.S. 281 (48)
4.    I-35 from Loop 1604 to Comal County line (49)
5.    Culebra Road from Grissom Road to Loop 410 (50)
6.    I-35 from Loop 410 to Loop 1604 (62)
7.    Castroville Road from Texas 151 to S 19th Street (75)
8.    Fredericksburg Road from Loop 410 to I-10 (81)
9.    Loop 410 from U.S. 281 to I-35 (94)
10.    Basse Road from Naco Perrin Blvd. to U.S. 281 (96)
